Christmas and Easter seals stamp collection : and related material, 1907-1984.

Contains two separate stamp collecting albums for Christmas and Easter Seals. Albums contain single stamps and sheets. Christmas Seals album contents include the first seal issued in 1907 by the American Red Cross through 1983 by the American Lung Association. The Easter Seals album contains stamps from the first seal issued in 1934 to the 50th year of Easter Seals stamp in 1984. Includes two handwritten inventories of the album contents. Also includes related materials concerning stamp collecting such as the publication, The Pennant (Vol. 35, No. 3, July-Sept. 1948) containing Christmas Seal images from 1907 to 1948, four National Tuberculosis Association inventory sheets of stamp images covering the years 1907 to 1971 correspondence, dealer price lists, etc.

He graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1926 and taught school in Ashley, North Dakota for six years before becoming Superintendant of Schools in McIntosh County.
